Air America Media (www.airamerica.com), a progressive media company, has launched a daily video political talk and comedy show featuring Marc Maron and Sam Seder. “BreakRoom Live with Maron & Seder” streams live, weekdays at 3:00pm ET on breakroomlive.com. The program, which launched its site this month, features Maron and Seder battling on the hot topics of the day, with live guests, comedy sketches, and recurring segments.
“Based on the fact that no one has developed a model for what we’re doing, we’re confident we’re breaking new and successful ground,” said Seder. “I see our show as PornTube meets MSNBC meets Twitter meets TradeSports meets Meets.com.”
Maron added, “I’m excited that Sam and I will be able to take risks in a new format and that our efforts will be on-line forever.”
Breakroomlive.com will also be home to exclusive on-demand video content from Maron and Seder. Along with a fully interactive blog, exclusive interviews, political discussions and irreverent comedy will also be featured.
Maron and Seder are veterans of film, television, stand-up comedy and radio. Maron has appeared on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” more than 40 times, several times on “Late Show with David Letterman,” half-hour specials on HBO and Comedy Central, and was the host of “Morning Sedition” and “The Marc Maron Show” on Air America. Seder has acted in and written nearly a dozen network sitcoms. He is a political commentator on MSNBC and CNN, and was the host of “The Sam Seder Show,” “The Majority Report” and “Seder on Sundays” on Air America. He most recently served as Air America’s Web site editor-in-chief.
