A Biography of Anar Mammadov
Anar Mammadov is one of the leading Azerbaijani entrepreneurs of the past decade. In that time he has founded Garant Holding which has went on to become one of Azerbaijan's most important investment companies, created the charitable organization the Azerbaijan America Alliance which has campaigned for the rights of all Azeri’s, and chaired the Azerbaijan Golf Federation to promote Azerbaijan as an international golfing destination.
Garant Holding has built up an impressive business portfolio under Anar Mammadov's leadership, owning 18 subsidiaries in 2014 over a range of industries including, construction, hospitality, real estate and transport. All of this has been achieved while basing the company firmly in ethical business practices which will help all Azeri’s.
Anar Mammadov's key role in developing the Azerbaijan America Alliance has been to promote Azerbaijan's traditions, customs, history and industry to the wider world, most specifically the USA which has a large Azeri community. The not-for-profit organization has also provided scholarships for Azeri students wishing to study in the USA as well as a number of educational and memorial initiatives.
Since 2012, Anar Mammadov has also chaired the Azerbaijan Golf Federation helping to host the European Pro Tour in 2014, while encouraging all in Azerbaijan to become interested in the sport through a new golfing academy.
