The Nigerian President has stepped up the fight against the armed group Boko Haram. Goodluck Jonathan has declared a state of emergency in three northern states and promised to hunt down the fighters.
It is an attempt to curb the increasingly violent attacks by the group.
More troops are on their way to Borno, Yobe and Ada-mawa states.
