Germany: Google ordered to act over auto-complete function

Internet giant Google has been ordered to clean up its search engine results.

A German federal court says it must take steps to ensure terms produced by an auto-complete function are not offensive or defamatory.

The case came to court after a German businessman found that he was being linked with scientology and fraud.
