Cannes looks forward to 66th film festival

Cannes, the glamorous resort nestled on the French Riviera prepared on Tuesday (May 14) for its 66th annual film festival.

The curtain rises on the two-week festival on Wednesday (May 15) where hundreds of films will be screened and twenty will compete for the coveted Palme d'Or, the festival's highest honor.

Eager fans keen to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars are already gathered outside the festival building...

Jay Weissberg, film critic for the movie industry trade publication Variety, believes this year's slate of films are already generating buzz.
