 "Rescue Vet" is an upbeat and informative series that celebrates the professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for animals and the owners who love their pets. In Episode 9 Doctor Berger visits an Argentine Polo Pony with debilitating joint pain in hopes that acupuncture will allow the owner to avoid putting her horse down, but the horse’s condition might be too severe. A Chihuahua-pug mix with diabetes is taken to Doctor Bianucci for surgery after a leg injury, but the surgery might be too risky for the little dog’s weakened physical state.
