The latest public official embroiled in a Washington DC sexual harassment scandal is not American... he's South Korean.

Yoon Chang-jung, a former spokesperson for President Park Geun-hye has been fired over sexual harassment charges during a recent visit to the U.S.

Yoon had been part of Park's entourage during her state visit with President Obama.

During the trip, a Korean American woman, who'd been hired by Park's team, said Yoon grabbed her bottom without her permission.

Yoon has since been fired, and Saturday morning back in Seoul, he apologized, but called the incident a cultural misunderstanding.

Yoon has said he takes full responsibility for the incident but that he had no sexual intention.
