Pairing: Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen
Song: "She's So Lovely" by The Butchies (not to be confused with the more popular but completely unrelated song by Scouting for Girls)

Like I mentioned in my previous video, these two are my OTP for the series. I wanted to make this vid special because of that, which is why I chose The Butchies, a queercore group; a lot of people I've seen interested in the ship are into it because the possibility of a non-heteronormative relationship being shown on a children's cartoon positively, so choosing music by a group specializing in lesbian and queer themes seemed the natural choice, even if they are kind obscure (insert your own hipster joke). Of course, it doesn't seem like they're going to be canon, going by the controversy that ensued, but still. :(
All of the images in the video, by the way, are by storyboard artist Rebecca Sugar and storyboard revisionist Natasha Allegri. I contemplated adding fanart but ultimately decided it's too "grey area" for me. I mean, I'm fine with slideshows that use fanart, but I didn't want to do that with this. I also wanted to use the series pitch presentation, since that was actually what made me ship Bubblegum and Marceline long before "What Was Missing," but Pendleton Ward's art... wouldn't fit in. I mean no offense (and I totally recommend looking up the presentation!), but it looked weird when I tried to put his art alongside the rest. SIGH
Also, I meant to use the whole song, but there's not an abundance of footage and official art of these two, and I worked on this so long that I was starting to get sick of the song and dreaded opening up the file to work on it. I'm such a bad editor, bleh.
