Australia PM condemns Boston attack

Chaos in the U.S. city of Boston as emergency workers rush to treat runners and bystanders injured following two explosions.

Three were killed and more than 100 injured in the Monday blasts at the finish line of the iconic Boston Marathon.

As U.S. officials continue to investigate the incident, world leaders expressed their condolences for the victims and their families.

On Tuesday, Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard condemned what she called a "senseless" assault.

"Australia unreservedly condemns this brutal and senseless attack on what is a great event known around the world - one people participate in to have fun as their families and friends watch on.
