Rocking robots go heavy metal

They're the heaviest metal band in the world - recycled metal that is.

But don't let that fool you. Compressorhead can rock with the best of them.

In fact, being made of recycled metal gives this band quite an advantage.

The drummer has four arms and the guitarist, aptly named Fingers, has 78 digits. Makes five sound slow, doesn't it.

The band have a set that includes songs form Led Zepplin to Motorhead and have already played at an Australian music festival.

Gibson Guitars is giving the band a boost, and exec Boris Loehe expects them to soon be a global sensation.

SOUNDBITE: Boris Loehe, Director of Europe Entertainment Relations for Gibson, saying (German):

"I think these robots are special. They are a bit wilder, a bit edgier and angular and also they sound a bit dirty. This goes well with this music. People are able to identify with this."

If they make it big and eventually go on tour, Compressorhead's management won't have to worry
