White House puts 18 Russian citizens on sanctions list

The White House has defended its decision to put 18 Russian citizens on a US sanctions list. Most of them are believed to be involved in the death of Russian whistleblower Sergei Magnitsky. He died in a Russian prison in 2009 after accusing state officials of corruption. Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports.
