South Africans welcome Mandela's discharge from hospital

Former South African president Nelson Mandela, seen here several years ago, is back at home after more than a week in hospital.
The 94 year-old anti-apartheid leader was discharged on Saturday after treatment for pneumonia.
An ambulance took him to his house in Johannesburg, where he will continue to receive treatment.
Mandela's third health scare in four months generated headlines across South Africa, where he is revered as a national icon.
Many of his compatriots welcomed the Nobel laureate's return home and wished him well.

Mandela's lung problems date from when he contracted tuberculosis as a political prisoner.
