SONG: "Love strong" by the Rolling Stones. Edited in 2009, so it's a bit out of date.

THE HOTTEST ACTRESSES IN CINEMA HISTORY, NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL but the ones that have been considered sex symbols, the ones that caused a certain impression in the public by playing sexually agressive characters, the ones that kept that image even outside the screen.

THIS IS NOT MY PERSONAL LIST, these are not my favorite actresses nor the ones I consider prettiest or anything like that. It is, as a matter of fact, the most UNBIASED list I could have made. I wrote it after checking the lists from specialized publications, magazines, websites, books... And this is the result (the clip I took for each actress is the only personal choice I made for the video):

30.-Gong Li, from "Miami Vice" (2006)
29.-Jessica Lange, from "The Postman always rings twice" (1981)
28.-Catherine Deneuve, from "Belle de jour" (1967)
27.-Marlene Dietrich, from "Morocco" (1930)
26.-Hedy Lamarr, from "Ekstase" (1933)
25.-Charlize Theron, from "Cider House Rules" (1999)
24.-Susan Sarandon, from "The Witches of Eastwick" (1987)
23.-Ursula Andress, from "Dr. No" (1962)
22.-Jennifer Connelly, from "The Hot Spot" (1990)
21.-Jane Russell, from "The Outlaw" (1943)
20.-Greta Garbo, from "Flesh and the Devil" (1926)
19.-Uma Thurman, from "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" (1988)
18.-Jean Harlow, from "Red Dust" (1932)
17.-Catherine Zeta Jones, from "The Mask of Zorro" (1998)
16.-Raquel Welch, from "One million years B.C." (1966)
15.-Elizabeth Taylor, from "Cat on a hot tin roof" (1958)
14.-Jane Fonda, from "Barbarella" (1968)
13.-Monica Belluci, from "Malena" (2000)
12.-Scarlett Johansson, from "Match point" (2005)
11.-Ava Gardner, from "Mogambo" (1953)
10.-Michelle Pfeiffer, from "Batman returns" (1992)
9.-Salma Hayek, from "From Dusk till Dawn" (1996)
8.-Rita Hayworth, from "Gilda" (1946)
7.-Kim Basginer, from "Nine 1/2 weeks" (1986)
6.-Halle Berry, from "Swordfish" (2001)
5.-Sharon Stone, from "Basic instinct" (1992)
4.-Sophia Loren, from "Arabesque" (1966)
3.-Brigitte Bardot, from "And God created woman" (1956)
2.-Angelina Jolie, from "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" (2005)
1.-Marilyn Monroe, from "Some like it hot" (1959)

ACTRESSES THAT DIDN'T MAKE THE LIST but would definitely be part of a Top 50: Claudia Cardinale, Lauren Bacall, Gina Lollobrigida, Jayne Mansfield, Eva Green, Penélope Cruz, Dorothy Lamour, Louise Brooks, Pam Grier, Jennifer López, Bo Derek, Mae West, Gene Tierney, Diane Lane, Kim Novak, Anita Ekberg, Dorothy Dandridge, Clara Bow, Lana Turner, Lena Olin, Veronica Lake.

A very different list would be the Top 30 Most Beautiful Actresses, where there would be names like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Natalie Wood, Julie Christie, Vanessa Redgrave, Winona Ryder, Ingrid Bergman, Natalie Portman...
