US firms look inside for hiring

There is more evidence that the US economy is recovering, as the latest unemployment figures showed that the jobless rate fell to a four-year low. Among the companies hiring in the US are high-tech firms, reversing the trend of out-sourcing jobs to developing economies - a practice called re-shoring. These firms say that re-shoring makes financial sense, as costs of labour from Asia was rising about 18 percent a year Al Jazeera's John Hendren reports from the US state of Illinois.
