Habs' P.K. Subban gets "coveted" hat trick pin

APRIL 4, 2011 -- Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban is presented with the almost legendary, "coveted" hat-trick pin by Montreal Gazette columnist and hockeyinsideout.com writer Dave Stubbs in the Habs dressing room after practice. The pin, bought as a gag at Finnegan's Market in Montreal-suburban Hudson in the summer of 2010, was to be awarded to the first Canadien who scored a hat-trick during 2010-11 season. Turns out it was Subban on March 20, whose three-goal performance in Minnesota was the first of his NHL career. Thanks to Canadiens' François Marchand for his role as cameraman.
