THE IKONICS - I'M NOT DEFEATED

The iKonics were formed a little over a year ago by three friends who all came from very different musical backgrounds.
Dean, the singer, is a born performer heavily influenced by pop, R & B and soul he has an incredible, utterly distinctive voice. From huge, anthemic choruses to soft, falsetto ballads he has the whole range.
Wayne, the guitarist is a lyrical player who's style is influenced by old school lead guitarists from the late 70's & 80's, such as Lindsay Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac) Johnny Marr (The Smiths) & The Edge. He drives the bands sound.
Steve is the piano/keys player, a classically trained musician able to play anything from big lead synths to ballads to jazz to Elton John style rock'n'roll. A real musician.
The iKonics are a band that draw on all their different influences of pop, rock, soul, indie, R&B and make something urgent and new.
