Thousands rally against austerity in Greece

Tens of thousands of Greeks have taken to the streets as part of a nationwide strike against government austerity measures. The walk out was called by the two biggest trade unions, which represent half the Greek workforce. The day was mainly peaceful - though there were some clashes between protesters and police.
