Just as the Airline manager Walter Gray (Lloyd Whitlock) is formally accused of being the Wrecker, the ex-convict Stratton (Edmund Breese) telephones Railroad manager Edwards (Tully Marshall). Stratton claims to have the missing gold shipment, and he will only release it if Edwards comes alone to a remote site and brings the evidence that will prove Stratton's innocence.
