The Union Cabinet on Thursday (January 30) cleared amendments to the Lokpal Bill, but the BJP hit back, saying that the government is trying to control the CBI and adding that the Lokpal fight is still on. MoS PMO V Narayansamy, while speaking to TIMES NOW, said that amendments to the Lokpal Bill were based on select committee recommendations.
