Russia opens trial of dead lawyer Magnitsky

The name Sergei Magnitsky has become synonymous with the fight against corruption in Russia.

The death of the lawyer while in custody more than three years ago also sparked a diplomatic dispute with the US.

Prosecutors now want to try Magnitsky posthumously on charges of tax evasion.
