Sorti en septembre 2007, “The Planet From Outer Space” est le troisième album de Monkeys Project.
Inspiré de l’univers de la science fiction des années 50-60, cette œuvre musicale raconte le voyage du capitaine John Fletcher, dont la mission est de découvrir une nouvelle planète à coloniser pour la survie de l’Humanité.
Il s’agit là de son journal de bord, constitué de récits contant l’histoire du héros sur fond de musique au style progressif.
Ce projet est aussi la rencontre entre le groupe et l’illustrateur Jacques Toni également critique de rock progressif.
Released in September 2007, "the unknown planet from outer space" is the Monkeys Project's third album. Inspired by Sci-Fi from the 50's-60's, this work is about captain John Fletcher's trip, whose mission is to discover a new planet to colonise for the survival of mankind. This record is actually captain John Fletcher diary. It is made of speeches telling the story of the hero based on progressive tracks. This project is about a meeting between the band and the illustrator Jacques Toni.
