Brad Pitt may be headed to China - even though he was reportedly banned from entering the country after starring in the 1997 film "Seven Years in Tibet." Pitt recently joined a Chinese social media site where he wrote, "It is the truth. Yup, I'm coming." No official word yet from Pitt's camp if the actor is indeed planning a trip.

Lindsay Lohan was the subject of more court proceedings in New York on Monday (January 07), although the actress was not in attendance. Prosecutors continued to weigh the facts in Lohan's case, which alleges that she assaulted another woman at a New York City nightclub late last year. Investigations will continue and Lohan will have to face the judge if charges are brought about.

Seth MacFarlane is getting a leg up on his Oscar hosting duties. He will join actress Emma Stone to announce the nominations for the 85th Academy Awards on Thursday (January 10). This will be the first time since 1972 that an Oscar show host has participated in the nominations announcement.

Finally, Rebel Wilson and Chris Colfer walked the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of "Struck By Lightning," - a movie which Colfer also wrote. The dark comedy follows a young man who recounts the way he blackmailed his fellow classmates. It opens on January 11.
