Nigeria's Maiduguri struggles amid violence

It was once a thriving city - a centre of learning and commerce on the old Trans-Sahara trade route.
But Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State in modern-day Nigeria, is now struggling.
Three years of violence between the armed group Boko Haram and the military has left people there desperate.
Al Jazeera's Mohammed Adow travelled to Maiduguri to meet some of the victims who have nowhere to go.
