The San Jose St Spartans from the WAC conference will face the Bowling Green Falcons from the MAC conference in the Military Bowl in an NCAA college football game on Thursday afternoon December 27th. Kick off time from RFK Stadium in Washington D.C. is scheduled for 3PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN.

The Bowling Green Falcons concluded play in the MAC conference with a mark of 8-4. They trended strongly to the under this season with a 10-1 mark under the total in their eleven lined games. They started out of the gates at 1-2 with a close road loss at Florida and a 27-15 defeat on the highway to Toledo. They faced off with Kent St in November 17th for control of the MAC conference east division and lose 31-24 at home by a -2 ½ point favorite in a big game. They bounced back with a 21-7 home win a week later to Buffalo as a -8 ½ point favorite.
