"Lincoln" leads Critics' Choice noms, Rivera's remains found

Steven Spielberg's film "Lincoln" has earned a record-shattering 13 Critics' Choice Movie Award nominations. Among its nods were best film, best director for Steven Spielberg, best actor for Daniel Day-Lewis, best supporting actress for Sally Field, best supporting actor for Tommy Lee Jones and best acting ensemble. The lavish musical "Les Miserables" followed with 11 nominations, while romantic comedy "Silver Linings Playbook" scored 10.

Authorities have recovered the remains of singer Jenni Rivera, who died in a plane crash after the small jet she was traveling in went down in northern Mexico. Rivera was heading for the city of Toluca in central Mexico after a concert in Monterrey on Saturday (December 08) night. It's still not clear what caused the crash.

Jennifer Lawrence is the world's most desirable woman - at least according to a poll released by website AskMen.com. "The Hunger Games" star rose to the top of the list from number 47 last year. Last year's winner, "Modern Family's" Sofia Vergara, moved down to number 12, while reality star Kim Kardashian plummeted to 98.

Finally, Carrie Underwood won two American Country Awards - one for female artist of the year and one for Single of the Year: Vocal Collaboration. She now has 11 ACAs in total, the most any artist has ever taken home from the show.
