Bekily est une femelle grand hapalémur née en Angleterre. Elle est le premier grand hapalémur a être retournée sur la terre de ses origines à Madagascar en 2010 dans le cadre du Programme d'Elevage Européen de cette espèce. Dans cette vidéo on l'a voit avec son 1er bébé né le 5 octobre 2012. C'est le premier grand hapalémur né au Parc Zoologique d'Ivoloina depuis 2006. Un beau succès pour le programme d'élevage en captivité ! Le grand hapalémur est un des lémuriens les plus menacés à Madagascar. L'association HELPSIMUS oeuvre à la sauvegarde de cette espèce.

She is the first greater bamboo which returned in Madagascar, the land of its origins, in 2010 under the European captive breeding program for this species.
