Devastation in this Gaza neighbourhood, where four members of the same family - four-year-old twin boys and their parents - were killed in an Israeli air strike on Monday.

Israel had no immediate reaction to the attack, one of more than 80 during the day in the Hamas-ruled territory.

The assault continues into its seventh day, with the headquarters of the Islamic National Bank hit by an Israeli strike at dawn.

Palestinian militants resumed rocket fire into Israel on Tuesday morning after Israel's military targeted roughly 100 sites in Gaza overnight.

At least one rocket fired form Gaza landed in Beersheba, damaging cars and a bus.

At least 108 Gazans have been killed since Wednesday -- more than half of them civilians, including almost 30 children, while three Israeli civilians died last week in a rocket attack.

Israel continues to deploy ground forces along Gaza's border as diplomatic efforts to end the conflict are stepped-up.
