Gaza conflict: Will India take a stand?

There is massive outrage across the world as Israel continues attacks on the Gaza strip for the seventh straight day. Even as the conflict escalates, Israel has given Hamas a 36-hour deadline to stop firing rockets in Israel, failing which they will mount a full blown ground assault. Meanwhile, India has called for direct talks but maintains a neutral stance on the issue.
