Albrecht D?rer

Albrecht D?rer (1471 – 1528) – mathematician, mechanic, architect, theorist of fortification, German landscape artist and printmaker, one of the greatest masters of West-European Renaissance. Many researchers believe that one of his most famous and mysterious engravings «Melancholia» («magic square» which symbolizes the system of humane knowledge) is a reflection of his spiritual life.
