Under siege in Idlib

Taking aim in Idlib province in Syria.

Members of the Free Syrian Army say they are gaining control of a strategic border town in the province.

President Bashar al-Assad's forces have been pushed back and are taking refuge where they can.

The siege has prevented food, water and weapons from being delivered to regime forces.

This latest conflict comes on the heels of a failed cease-fire plan.

Both government forces and rebel fighters have been accused of breaking the ceasefire by opening fire at opponents.

As the 19-month revolt against Assad turns bloodier, there is still no end in sight to the conflict.
