Mano Juan is the only settlement on Isla Saona, a very beautiful tropical island located on the southeast tip of the Dominican Republic and is part of the Parque Nacional del Este. Isla Saona is one of the most beautiful island in the world and is a must visit if you are in the Dominican Republic. Some local tour guide/excursion will take you to Mano Juan and give you a walking tour of the island. You will get to visit a turtle nursery and touch little turtles, see how the villagers live, visit their homes, and even visit a local school. The island has no hotel and tourist can only visit via day-trip. The island offers stunning white sand beaches, crystal clear water, lush coconut forests, and beauty that rivals some of the most beautiful islands in the world.
