The aftermath of a deadly bombing in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.

An explosion outside this market killed seven people, including three children, on Saturday.

It was one of three blasts to rock the country during the festival of Eid al-Adha - one of Islam's holiest holidays.

At least 13 people died in the attacks.

One bomb went off in this town north of Baghdad, wounding several children and razing houses, according to residents.

This man blamed the government, which has not done enough to bring security to war-scarred Iraq.

Meanwhile, six people died when a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims was attacked.

Sunni Islamist insurgents and al-Qaeda's Iraq wing often target Shi'ite Muslims in an attempt to enflame sectarian tensions.
