Syrian rebels use ancient method to attack their enemies

This is Aleppo, Syria's largest city where rebel fighters are engaged in a street by street battle with government forces.

The rebels say they've made progress but many say they are angry that they haven't received more support.

SOUNDBITE: Unnamed rebel fighter saying:

"We will win over that dog Assad. But I want to deliver a message to the Arabs, the Arabs who betrayed us. The Arabs who said at first they will support the opposition party and the free army but in the end they retreated."

From their position amid the rubble, the rebel fighters are turning to an ancient method to attack their enemies, they're using this slingshot to hurl grenades in the direction of government forces.

A human rights group reported that at least 50 people were killed in Syria on Monday, down from the death toll of 170 the previous day.
