Kevin Drew Tries to Interview Sloan's Chris Murphy (False Start)

We gave Damian from Fucked Up an interview job before he landed at MuchMusic. We had Shad interview himself. But little did we know what we'd unleash when we asked Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew to chat with Sloan's Chris Murphy.

Before they even get to the interview part, Drew is already trying to stake a claim to being at least a generation younger than the Halifax-bred rockers, offering up evidence of seeing Sloan on an obscure TV show as a teenager. Sloan's Jay Ferguson comes in for some pinch-hitting corroboration. Then the KISS talk starts. Between Drew and Murphy, it's hard to tell who's even conducting the interview. In this case no one — they don't even get to the interview part!

See how the struggle for mic control resolves itself in the next two parts, wherein Murphy hijacks the interview to quiz Drew, Kevin Drew regains the upper hand for some Sloan questions, and finally... well, you'll have to wait and see how it turns out.
