VORO is as delectable as the name sounds-- voracious. Jesse the chef-owner, born and raised in the Mile end, channels his personal experience of its rich culinary heritage, and that of the far reaches of the Mediterranean basin, pollinated by legendary epic traders the Phoenicians-- into his restaurant. Jesse is also very lovely, and the benches on the new terrace, which he made with his family, are very agréable. Jesse was a pleasure to interview.
