China bus crash kills five German tourists

The torn wreckage of a tour bus on a highway just outside of Beijing, China.
On Monday, state tv reported that five Germans and a Chinese bus driver were killed when the tour bus hit a container truck.
The bus carrying a group of German tourists rear-ended the truck and then burst into flames.
Some 14 others were injured in the incident and taken to a Tianjin hospital.
The collision happened during the eight-day holiday bridging Mid-Autumn Festival and the country's National Day.
Chinese authorities have lifted tolls for passenger cars with less than seven seats, which Chinese media blame for major traffic jams along highways throughout the country.
