Lohan involved in hotel room scuffle; Hathaway marries.

Actress Lindsay Lohan was involved in a scuffle with a man at a New York hotel on Sunday (September 30), police said, over what media reports described as her demand that photos of her be deleted from his cellphone.

Investigators took reports from both Lohan, 26, and the man, but charges appeared unlikely, said a spokeswoman for the New York City Police Department. A misdemeanor assault charge filed earlier in the day against the man was dropped, the spokeswoman said.

Police declined to confirm local media reports identifying the man as a staffer for a U.S. Congressman.

Pop star George Michael, blaming anxiety issues, has called off his upcoming tour dates in Australia. The 49-year-old singer, who was seriously-ill last year with pneumonia, said he was heartbroken over the cancelation on his website "apologized to my wonderful Australian fans."

Actress Anne Hathaway married fiancé Adam Shulman at a wedding on the scenic coast of Big Sur, California, celebrity media reports said on Sunday.
