Now more sarpanches have resigned in Kashmir, fearing for their lives after a sarpanch was gunned down by a terrorist in the Baramullah area of Jammu and Kashmir, the second such incident within a fortnight. The sarpanches have started fearing for their lives after constant threats by terrorist groups to resign or face the consequences.
