Vietnam welcomes Cambodian King

STORY: Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni visited Vietnam on Monday (September 24) to improve diplomatic and economic relations between the two Southeast Asian neighbors.

King Sihamoni met Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang after a welcoming ceremony, and is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

The two countries have had 45 years of diplomatic relations. Trade between the two exceeded $2.8 billion last year, and is expected to hit $3.4 billion in 2012.

King Sihamoni is set to leave Vietnam on Tuesday afternoon.
