Germany's Oktoberfest welcomes beer-lovers

Signalling the start of the world's most famous beer festival, the Mayor of Munich tapped the first beer keg as Oktoberfest got underway in Germany.

Millions of beer-drinkers from across the globe will make their way to Bavaria's capital to sample the wares during the two-week festival.
