Sometimes inspiration can come from unexpected sources.

It’s hard to imagine being as courageous and determined as one 10-year-old boy in China. The child was left paralyzed at a young age due to a sickness. While he was able to crawl to get around, he later learned to walk on his hands at the age of four.

He walks to and from school every single day, taking him an hour and a half each way. The young boy states “I don't want to quit. I want to study hard, and support myself in the future.” He could use crutches, but chooses to walk on his palms because he believes the journey is quicker that way.

In another remarkable story from earlier this year, a 17-year-old paralyzed boy from San Diego beat all odds. He was accidentally pinned underneath a vehicle at the age of 14 months, resulting in a crushed spinal cord. Doctors believed that he would never walk again. Recently, shattering that belief, he rose from his wheelchair, walked across a stage and received his high school diploma.
