ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

Italian fashion brand Roccobarocco reinvented his landmark baroque design for the opulent 2013 spring/summer collection on Thursday (September 20). The designer replaced his traditional prints with oriental motifs made with an innovative lacquer technique that created a tactile effect on feminine dresses. The collection featured brocade and lame tunics, sometimes worn over denim mini-shorts to create a younger understated sense of luxury. Trousers were skinny and short at the ankle while some skirts were short with ruffles to expose legs. For the evening, air-thin lace tunics were worn over skinny silk trousers. Designer Rocco Barocco worked a bright colour palette of turquoise, coral red, greens and gold for a woman who loves to impress.
