Dear friends,
Project Industrial version of fastest finger first is the modified version of current market available fastest finger first systems, We have improved the functionality and added few new features. This project was developed using VHDL coding and configured in xilinx spartan series FPGA device.
In this project we used a slide switch as master key, and 5 other push switches, 1 for reset, and remaining 4 for our 4 teams. In the functioning of this project, first master key change mode of operation and lcd screen shows the current status of all teams, initially WT will display to indicate that the system is waiting for the team response, to activate the system all teams should be press his team key once, then lcd display shows Ok to the particular team. After activating the system by confirming all the teams are ready, then master key will change the operation mode of system and the system will activate and ready to perform it's task, and the lcd display shows All teams ready, System Activated, after that when any one of the team pressed key first, Then That team wins this round and the system will deactivate at the same time and lcd displays the name of winning team. To restart the system or for the next round master should press reset key and all the teams and master should follow the same procedure.
