Mourners leave flowers at the home of the family gunned down in a brutal shooting in the French Alps.

On Wednesday, three people were found dead - shot in the head in a car. A fourth murder victim - a cyclist - also was found nearby.

At a news conference Friday, officials named two of the victims - as 50-year-old Saad al-Hilli and his wife, from Surrey.

Their four-year-old daughter - who had gone unnoticed for hours after authorities arrived at the crime scene - identified her parents - but could not give more information.

"We hope she will be able to tell us what she saw, give descriptions, such as the number of people, whether they were men or women, the color of their skin, their clothes, anything that will allow us to start identifying the person or persons who committed these acts."

Investigators were looking into several motives - including a family feud over money.
