Spike Lee hit the red carpet at the 69th annual Venice Film Festival - posing for photos and greeting fans. The director brought his latest film to the fest - "Bad 25" - a documentary examing Michael Jackson's "Bad" album, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

The two-hour documentary features interviews and footage of Jackson's concerts, rehearsals and music videos. The piece is a love letter of sorts to Jackson, painting a picture of a genius at work who cared about every step of the production process.
