50 Cent brings his sounds to Berlin

STORY: U.S. Rapper 50 Cent visited the International consumer electronics fair IFA in Berlin on Thursday (August 30) to promote his headphone line. His company SMS Audio produces two lines of headphones, "Sync by 50" wireless headphones and the "Street by 50" wired set.

During the presentation 50 Cent also talked about his new film "Freelancers".

"Oh man, I got a new film released recently, is called "Freelancers." It is myself, Robert De Niro and Forest Whitaker, its an exciting project for me, actually the film was produced by my production company Cheetah Vision," said 50 Cent.

The crime drama was released on Aug. 21.

50 Cent talked about his new album and said there is no tension between him and legendary rapper Dr. Dre who started producing his headphones line "Beats by Dr. Dre" in 2006.

Born in the South Jamaica section of Queens, New York, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson first wanted to become a heavyweight boxer, but then turned to music and rapping.

He had his international breakthrough in cooperation with fellow rappers and producers Dr. Dre and Eminem, finally making his debut with his 2003 album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'".

The Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) is Europe's biggest event for consumer electronics and home appliances. Sony, Samsung and others show their latest gadgets to experts and consumers. This year's event hosts more than 1400 exhibitors from 50 countries.
