Bollywood celebrates IIFA Awards

Some of Bollywood's biggest stars have turned out in Singapore for the industry's annual awards ceremony. For three days, Bollywood stars are in town for the International Indian Film Academy Awards, but the move east demonstrates Indian cinema's growing global audience. Its gaining popularity has much to do with the genre's evolution as films takenon more gritty, realistic storylines, as opposed to the tried and tested themes of love or filial piety.
