Chile activists call for ban on Pinochet film

Sympathisers of the late Chilean president Augusto Pinochet, who was accused of crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court, plan to honour him at the screening of a new documentary this weekend.

"Pinochet", a tribute to the late leader, who ruled over the country for 17 years during which an estimated 3,000 people were killed, is being met by widespread opposition by the families of the victims.

Al Jazeera's Sophie Jackson reports.
