Libyans sue Britain over role in arrests

Two Libyans are suing a former British intelligence officer over his role in their illegal rendition.

Abdul Hakim Belhaj and Sami al-Saadi both say they were tortured under former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, after British intelligence helped to abduct them abroad.

The cases are already being investigated by police, but now they are suing former MI6 officer Sir Mark Allen, for "complicity in torture".
