Sri Lanka students protest over staff strike

Universities in Sri Lanka have been closed indefinitely because of a strike by lecturers.

The dispute has been going on for nearly two months, with staff demanding increased state funding for education.
Negotiations with the government have failed to end the impasse so far and authorities closed the campuses earlier in the week.
Students are now speaking up against the protests amid concerns it will affect their chances of graduating.
